Ten Foster County 4-H'ers competed in the state dairy judging contest in Fargo on June 6.
The junior team beat out three other teams to place first in the state contest. Kaydri Cabler led the team, finishing second overall.
The senior team placed second in the contest. Molly Hansen had the highest score among the members of the senior team, finishing third among all competitors.
Participants in the contest were asked to judge five classes of dairy heifers and give oral reasons for their placings of two classes.
The teams are coached by Missy Hansen and Joel Lemer.
