Coach Kristin Cabler congratulates her players in the dugout on a job well done following the game.

The Carrington 12U girls' softball team elected to go one extra inning with the score tied at 5-5 against visiting Rugby on Wednesday, June 28, and that mutual decision, agreed to by both teams, ended up with a win for the Redbirds by the final score of 6-5. The team's overall record sat at 4-2 following the contest.
