Lexi Page is the July Employee of the Month.
The Carrington Chamber and Economic Development Corporation recognized Lexi Page as Employee of the Month for July. She receives a framed certificate and $20 in Carrington Cash for the awesome care she gives. The nomination is as follows:
"It takes a special person to be a certified nursing assistant as CNA's are a very important part of the entire health care team. I would like to nominate Lexi Page for the Chamber's employee of the month, as over the last couple of years she has taken excellent care of my grandma at Golden Acres Manor. She cares for residents and family members with respect and dignity and is a great asset to Golden Acres Manor.
"Lexi has a passion for nursing and health care overall. Not only is she a CNA at Golden Acres, but she is also working on her Nursing degree. Lexi is well known for her compassion and energy. She is always courteous and helpful to others. She is highly respected by her peers and appreciated by the residents because of the way she treats others.
"Lexi adapts her plan of care to include and meet the age-specific and cultural needs of the residents. She is seen as a very positive person and is efficient and thorough in her work and finishes the job in a timely manner. The combination of her high standards and vast experience enables her to be an excellent mentor to other employees.
"She is highly respected by those with whom she comes in contact and is an excellent role model to others in the facility. Lexi represents Golden Acres Manor well as she strives for excellence in resident care.
"Lexi provides excellent care to all residents, including my grandma, always going the extra step to make sure my grandma is well cared for. When Lexi is working, I always know my grandma is in good hands. Lexie treats all residents like they are her family. Every resident loves her as well as her coworkers. She is always cheerful and is helpful every day. The impression she leaves on those around her is one of warmth, dependability and professionalism."
