All-Region 1 performers for the Griggs/Midkota Titans were, L-R: Isaac Stadler, Kindle Carlson and Levi Kautzman on the First Team, and Latrell Rainey was named Honorable Mention.
The Griggs/Midkota Titans had three players make the All-Region 1 team in the Nine-Man division, and one other earn Honorable Mention distinction.
Linemen Levi Kautzman and Isaac Stadler, and running back/linebacker Kindle Carlson, all juniors, were selections to the top squad, and senior wide receiver Latrell Rainey was Honorable Mention for the team roster, which was released to the public Tuesday, November 7.
Region 1 champion Sargent County had six players on the All-Region team, while LaMoure/Litchville-Marion and Wyndmere/Lidgerwood each were represented with five. All three had a trio of Honorable Mention selections.
The Academic All-Region 1 team was also released, and the Titans were very well-represented for their hard work in the classroom. Honorees for the team on the academic side for G-M were:
Sawyer Larson, wide receiver/cornerback; Lakin Ronningen, wide receiver/cornerback; Trace Spickler, quarterback/strong safety; Cole Vincent, running back/cornerback; Kyle Johnson, wide receiver; Brady Haugen, wide receiver/outside linebacker; Lane Ressler, running back/outside linebacker; Maximus Ludwig, offensive lineman/middle linebacker; Aedian Olafson, fullback/defensive lineman; Wyatt Hoyt, offensive/defensive lineman; Isaac Stadler, offensive/defensive lineman; Levi Kautzman, offensive/defensive lineman; and Colten Walker, offensive/defensive lineman.
