Date extended for CCEF grant

The application date for area organizations to request grants from the Carrington Community Endowment Fund (CCEF) has been extended to April 1.

Information about the Carrington Fund, and the application process, is available online at https://www.ndcf.net/carrington.html.

The local Foundation is affiliated with the North Dakota Community Foundation, which is a nonprofit, tax-exempt corporation under IRS code 501(c)(3) and North Dakota Law. The Carrington Community Endowment Fund is managed locally by a group of volunteers whose main activities are building the fund and recommending grants annually.

Last year, the Carrington Community Endowment fund distributed $25,440.00, after receiving applications totaling $33,799.78. Sponsored organizations included Caring-Ton Child Care Center, Carrington Youth Center, CHI Health At Home, Dollars for Scholars Carrington Scholarship Fund, the Foster County Historical Society Putnam House, Friends of the Carrington Library, and Carrington Lions for the Lights of Honor Carrington Independence Day Fireworks.
