On Thursday, Dec. 29, the Carrington Cardinals traveled to Pingree to take on the Medina-Pingree/Buchanan Thunder in what was an intense basketball game from start to finish. The Griggs/Midkota Titans hoped to build on the momentum of their two-point win over NR-S 10 days earlier, and returned to the hardwood post-Christmas with a nonregion contest against Dakota Prairie on December 30. CHASELEY NEWS: The Rodackers finally got to celebrate Christmas and Julie Rodacker’s birthday Sunday. They spent the day at the Larry and Fay Fandrich home in Fessenden. On the way home, they stopped in Hurdsfield and visited with Julie’s brother, Alan Fehr. Saturday, Pam Rodacker went with Fay and Larry Fandrich to Lawton to visit Pam’s brother, Bud Lagacie.
