Dru Carr got an 8-5 victory over Central Cass's Drew Urbach at 106 pounds in the consolation round match. Those three points would figure in a five-point win for the Cards, 38-33, to advance to the fifth place round and avenge two dual losses to the Squirrels this past season.
Carrington, in spite of their open weights, made it a productive Saturday afternoon at the State B Dual Wrestling Tournament.
The Cards bounced back from a first-round 46-18 loss to New Salem-Almont, and took the next two matches to claim the consolation championship February 19.
On the way, the Cards avenged two losses to the Central Cass Squirrels in the regular season and Region 2 Tournament...
