Carrington's girls golf team placed third at the Region 2 meet at CrossRoads Friday, September 16, and earned an automatic berth into the State Class B Tournament which starts today (September 26) at Souris Valley Golf Course in Minot and concludes on Tuesday. The Carrington Cardinals shot a score of 388 to take third place at the Region 2 tournament at CrossRoads Golf Club Friday morning and afternoon, September 16.
Carrington's showing was 44 strokes behind regional champion Fargo Oak Grove's winning tally of 344, while the Kindred Vikings (350) were six shots behind the Grovers when all cards were tabulated.
