Hornets sending 13 to state track meet

Kayl Sieg of the Hornets got some decent hang time on this long jump attempt, but finished just short of qualification at 20'5", for fifth place. Sieg has qualified in four other events, those being the 4x100 relay, 4x200, 4x400 and the javelin.
The HWC boys finished third and the girls fifth in the North Central Regional Track and Field meet, held Friday, May 19, at Rugby.
Both the boys and girls team added events to their state meet schedule by either meeting the state standard or by finishing in the top three in their respective events.
