    The Hornet boys and girls track teams are off and running. . . and throwing and jumping and doing all track and field things early in the season. The Hornets recently traveled to NDSU in Fargo to compete in the "unofficial" state Class B indoor competition on Saturday, March 26.     The Griggs/Midkota Titans track squad began their season at the UND High Performance Center in Grand Forks on March 26, as they competed in an indoor meet, the PCN Indoor Invitational, hosted by Pembina County North. Winners for the Titans included Jaxon Gronneberg (60-meter dash) and the 4x300-meter relay for the boys, while Jenna Larson was a double champion in the high jump and pole vault and Asia Becherl took the shot put.     The Carrington Pitcrew youth wrestling program competed in the North Dakota State Folkstyle Tournament at the Bismarck Event Center March 25-26. The Pitcrew competed in both the individual tournament brackets, as well as the team dual competition with two different squads. Group 1, with mostly older kids (kindergarten to sixth grade), went 1-2, taking a 70-0 loss to the Bison Wrestling Club of Fargo.
