    Carrington’s Waste Pile Site will be open free of charge to all Carrington city residents on Thursday, June 2 and Friday, June 3 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday, June 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Residents are responsible for hauling their clean-up items to the waste pile site. Each driver shall be required to show a current water bill/stub as proof of residency. The landfill is located one mile north of Highway 200 and 19th Avenue intersection and then ¾ mile west.     There are still a few spots left in the Commercial Building for the Foster County Fair. You are invited to display your products in our Commercial Exhibit building or to display your larger items outside in a lighted area. There will be insurance on your products as long as the fair is in progress. The space fee is $50.00 for an indoor 8x10 (approximately) space for three days during the fair.     North Dakota State University Extension has had a long-term recommendation of establishing pinto bean at 70,000 plants per acre, and black and navy bean at 90,000 plants per acre in wide (30-inch) rows. However, based on an annual dry bean grower survey, farmers growing black and navy bean are using greater plant populations and narrower rows, says Greg Endres, NDSU Extension cropping systems specialist.     The corn hole tournament will be held on Thursday, June 23 at 8:00 p.m. at the Foster County Fair. The tournament will be open to all ages. It will be a double elimination and there is no entry fee. Prizes for each team are as follows: 1st - $250, 2nd - $150, 3rd - $100 and 5th - $100.
